Bookmarks
Want to come back to a post later? Select the … button under it, then the bookmark icon. You can add a note and set a reminder. Find all your bookmarks in your profile menu.
Good uses: a contractor recommendation, a recipe, or a game thread you want to return to.
Private messages
To message someone directly, select their picture or username, then Message. Messages work like topics but are visible only to the people you include.
New members may need to spend a little time reading and taking part before messaging is unlocked. This keeps spam out of everyone’s inbox.
Your messages live under My messages in the sidebar.
